"And what's the plan for the weekend?" my friend asked.
I said, "do you remember this chap from school...he's getting engaged"
"er.. no.. who's he?"
"remember he was going around with this girl..."
"oh yeah, that guy!!! fantastic..."
"you remember this girl.. she got placed in... she's gonna earn this much money..."
"no i don't remember her. who's she again?"
"she was studying in... department. she used to hang out with these people..."

cat laid an egg...
... this happened when we were 6 years old...
...in school, during recess three of us were standing by the window. Our classroom was on the ground floor, and the rear compound wall was a couple of metres behind the window. In between there was sand.
...while we were watching, a cat came by, dug a hole, did its job and went away after covering it up. Being kids, and not knowing the finer details of how animals multiply, one of us said... "cat laid an egg..." and the rest of us agreed.
a few days layer, the sand area was cemented and we felt bad that the "eggs" were lost. It was after 3-4 years later that we realized what the eggs were...

deja vu...
it's been almost 4 years now... we were fighting the same battle... the side I was fighting for was different... the place I was fighting it out was different... the friends I had were different...
but the battle is the same... the same desperation, the same thirst to kill and come on top ...the same foe ...the same fear of ending up loosing ...the same sick feeling in the stomach ...even the same mistakes...
...it's good to be back. it's days like these which do not count as 'same shit different day' even though it's the same shit!

twister...
Jesus Christ, listen to yourself, you're obsessed!
You've never seen what that thing can do, so don't even talk to me about-
I just saw it-
You've never seen it miss this house, and miss that house, and come after you!

i love kids...
i love it when little kids charge down the alley in a supermarket with the trolley...
i love it when infants in the neighbouring bay in a train start bawling away to glory in the middle of the night...
i love it when the neighbours kid decides to play tag with my doorbell...
i love it when the kid at the neighbouring table in a restaurant gapes at me when i am wolfing down dessert...
i love it when the kid upstairs decides to check whether the floor is bouncy or not... especially when i am sleeping...
i love it when i have to share my fries with the neighbours kid...
i really love it when kids aim the ball at sensitive parts of my body when i am walking by...
i also love it when they ask me to throw it back afterwards...
i love it when kids press all the buttons on the elevator just for fun... especially since my house is on the top floor...
i really love it when they ask me if i am this chap's daddy...
...makes me want to bslap them mfsobs silly.

i know what you'll do the next summer...
...with the number of soothsayers we have, this would have been the title of the movie had it been made here. if we were to start the next world war, I am pretty sure ther'll be a god man somewhere high up advising which date would be most favourable to declare war, what time Jupiter would influence the least so our scuds will cause maximum damage(do we have scuds???) etc.
wtf... who enjoys a movie when the story is already known, who reads the book when they know the end. That's what it is like to have someone predict the future. Its like going through the motions to get on with life; not experiencing it.
and if it was supposed to happen and you changed something so it didn't, htf is it the future?
