i love kids...

i love it when little kids charge down the alley in a supermarket with the trolley...
i love it when infants in the neighbouring bay in a train start bawling away to glory in the middle of the night...
i love it when the neighbours kid decides to play tag with my doorbell...
i love it when the kid at the neighbouring table in a restaurant gapes at me when i am wolfing down dessert...
i love it when the kid upstairs decides to check whether the floor is bouncy or not... especially when i am sleeping...
i love it when i have to share my fries with the neighbours kid...
i really love it when kids aim the ball at sensitive parts of my body when i am walking by...
i also love it when they ask me to throw it back afterwards...
i love it when kids press all the buttons on the elevator just for fun... especially since my house is on the top floor...
i really love it when they ask me if i am this chap's daddy...
...makes me want to bslap them mfsobs silly.

i know what you'll do the next summer...

...with the number of soothsayers we have, this would have been the title of the movie had it been made here. if we were to start the next world war, I am pretty sure ther'll be a god man somewhere high up advising which date would be most favourable to declare war, what time Jupiter would influence the least so our scuds will cause maximum damage(do we have scuds???) etc.
wtf... who enjoys a movie when the story is already known, who reads the book when they know the end. That's what it is like to have someone predict the future. Its like going through the motions to get on with life; not experiencing it.
and if it was supposed to happen and you changed something so it didn't, htf is it the future?

Wednesday

half knowledge...

at some point of time someone older than you would've told you that 'learning is a continuous process' 'half knowledge is dangerous' and 'ignorance is bliss'. If learning is a continuous process, then regardless of the knowledge you've already accumulated, there's still more to gather. That makes complete knowledge infinity.
if complete knowledge is infinity then half knowledge too cannot be quantised. That means that at any point of time, you have less than half knowledge. so there is no way of telling when you can stop learning.
but, if ignorance is bliss, knowledge is misery. As long as you're miserable, you have complete knowledge. as long as you're miserable there's no need to learn anything more.
hence we have proved that the first statement is false - learning cannot be a continuous process and knowledge cannot be infinity...

...now that we've established quantization of knowledge let's see it's application. you'd have noticed that knowledge is measured by the depth rather than length, breadth, height or weight. we know that as one goes deeper and deeper into the earth's crust temperature rises to a high at the core and starts to drop as one moves towards the other side.
ergo, half knowledge is dangerous as it can kill you and complete knowledge can take you places as you'll reach the other side. but best of all, ignorance is bliss as it lets you be where you were in the first place.

Tuesday

beans...

the best way to have beans is boiled/steamed and plain salted. A little bit of gunpowder won't do any harm. Anything else added takes away the virgin taste of beans. i especially hate baked beans on toast 'cos of the tomato sauce.

In the beginning...

...god created the heaven and the earth

these are the opening lines of the first track from songs of distant earth. I didn't discover this album for a long time, as someone did me the favour of putting it in the floyd folder. Not that i don't like floyd... after listening to atom mother heart i decided its best to listen to only tracks others recommend. For those venturing into psychedelic stuff, this is a good place to start.

coming to the point, this is actually not the beginning, i did write a half page of trash one night and shared it with a couple of people. But the next morning i dint like it and i think i deleted it. If you're reading this it means I've either started writing better or stopped reading what i write...

lake of fire can mean a lot of things. Some people think devil was an angel first and for some reason was condemned to the lake of fire. That makes lake of fire mean hell. I believe that there is only heaven and earth... as the first line says. I also believe in the matrix, and i feel people who aren't plugged in can see earth for what it actually is... hell. We'll come back to this later.

lake of fire is also a track by someone, which was covered by Nirvana.

this place is called in the lake of fire because it sounds good. If you were looking for something extraordinary you should just watch the david blaine show.
